We propose to furnish necessary labor and materials to provide a complete installation of the synthetic grass system as described in the plans and specifications.
The synthetic grass installer/manufacturer shall have experience installing the infill type turf systems and shall be approved to perform the installation of the Covenant Industries LLC system.
The system consists of 100% TenCate Thiolon XP Pro fibers, tufted into a primary backing, coated with a urethane secondary backing, and tufted to a minimum pile height of based on the chosen surface (CSTurf-P - 2.75 in., CSTurf-O - 2.5 in., CSTurf-I - 2.25 in., CSTurf-E 2 in.). The turf fibers shall be filled with a mixture of rubber granules.
The finished playing surface shall appear as mowed grass with no irregularities and shall afford excellent traction for conventional athletic shoes of all types (excluding metal cleats). The finished surface shall resist abrasion and cutting movement from normal use. The system shall be ideal for football, soccer, field hockey, rugby, lacrosse, baseball, softball, and intramural and recreational use.
The infill materials shall be recycled rubber granules, free of fluff and metal. The system shall contain no sand.
The installation shall be performed in full compliance with approved shop drawings.
All installation operations shall be performed by personnel directly employed by Covenant Industries LLC, fully familiar with the materials and their application, under the full time direction and supervision of a qualified technical supervisor employed by the company.
The surface to receive the synthetic grass shall be inspected and certified by Covenant Industries LLC as ready for the installation of the synthetic grass system and must be perfectly clean as installation commences and shall be maintained in that condition throughout the process.
The synthetic grass system shall be installed with no wrinkles, ripples or bubbles.
Seams shall be chemically fused using Nordot Urethane adhesives as manufactured by Synthetic Surfaces Inc. Seams shall be flat, tight and permanent with no separation.
Infill materials consisting of specified rubber granules shall be installed per specifications.
Field shall have standard markings for individual sports as selected by the owner. Lines, markings and logos shall be inlaid with colored turf unless otherwise specified by owner.
Covenant Industries LLC shall provide the labor, supplies and equipment as necessary for final cleaning of surfaces and installed items.
Covenant Industries LLC shall keep the area clean throughout the project and clear of debris.
Surfaces, recesses, enclosures, etc. shall be cleaned as necessary to leave the work area in a clean, immaculate condition ready for immediate occupancy and use.
